The following 60 airports (measured by volume of international traffic) will be automatically enrolled into the 2022 Travel Retail Awards. No submissions are required for this award.
Leading Swiss consumer research company m1nd-set will then interview 2,000 international passengers who have travelled through at least one of the leading airports. Due to Covid-19 travel restrictions, the passengers selected will have travelled through one of the airports at least once in the past twelve months.
“The passengers will then be asked about his/her perception of the airport they have travelled through regarding various key elements, such as ‘sense of place’ etc,” says m1nd-set Owner & CEO Peter Mohn.
“With this methodology we can gather the honest opinions of a representative sample for each airport.”
